Your account plan: what the limits mean and how to manage them
The Account plan page in Eyivo shows your package, how long it is covered, and how much of each limit your websites use. This guide explains every number on that page in plain words, what Eyivo does when a limit is reached, how to make room again, and what happens to your money when you move up, renew or ask for a refund.

What each limit means
Every package comes with a set of limits. The Account plan page shows each one as a tile: the amount you use in large type, the limit next to it, a bar and one line that says whether you are within the limit. Sizes use decimal units, so 1 MB is 1,000,000 bytes and 1 GB is 1,000 MB.
- Storage: the files you upload to your websites, mostly images and videos. The total counts every website you own.
- Database: your pages, texts, menus, settings and the messages your contact forms receive. It grows slowly; large images never count here.
- Monthly transfer: the data your websites send to visitors in the current month, including images. The counter starts again from zero on the first day of every month (UTC).
- Website projects: how many separate websites you can create in your account. Each has its own content, settings and free Eyivo preview address.
- Domain connections: how many of your own domains you can connect across all your websites. A domain and its www version use one connection. Buying a domain is separate from connecting it.
- Connected apps: AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude that you have allowed to work on your websites.
- API tokens: keys you create for your own scripts and integrations.
- Pages and languages: how many pages and how many languages each website can have. These two apply per website, not to the account as a whole.
The tiles turn amber when a storage, database or transfer limit is 80 percent full, and red when a limit is exceeded. Counted limits such as website projects are expected to be fully used, so a full one is not a warning.
What happens when you reach a limit
Reaching a limit never takes a website offline and never deletes anything. Visitors keep seeing every page and image you have published. What changes is what you can add:
- Storage full: new uploads are refused with a “storage quota exceeded” message until you delete files or move up to a bigger package. Existing files keep working.
- Database full: saving new pages or content is refused until you remove some content or move up. Published pages keep serving.
- Monthly transfer: the counter is measured and shown; nothing is switched off when it is exceeded. If a website regularly needs more transfer than the package allows, move up to a bigger package.
- Website projects, domain connections, connected apps and API tokens: when all are used, the button to add another one is unavailable. Remove one you no longer need, or move up.
- Pages and languages: the website editor stops you adding a page or a language beyond the package limit for that website.
When a paid package ends and is not renewed, the free plan limits apply again after the grace period. Content above those limits stays stored, but you cannot add more until you renew, and connected domains stop serving. The Upgrades, credits and refunds section below has the dates.
How to free up storage
Storage is almost always images and videos. The “Usage by website” table on the Account plan page shows which website uses the most, so start there.
- Open the website from the table, then open its Media page. Delete files you no longer use: old logos, duplicate photos, images from pages you removed.
- Replace very large photos with smaller versions. A photo straight from a phone is often 4 to 8 MB; resized to about 1,600 pixels wide and saved as JPEG or WebP it is usually under 300 KB and looks the same on a website.
- Avoid uploading videos to your website. Host them on YouTube or Vimeo and embed them; the embed costs no storage and no transfer.
- For the database, delete pages and drafts you no longer need, and remove languages you do not publish in. Contact form messages you have dealt with can be deleted too.
- Usage updates within minutes of a change. The “Last reported” column tells you when each website last reported its numbers.
If you are close to the limit even after cleaning up, a bigger package is the simplest fix: your website stays exactly as it is and only the limits grow. See the next section for how the price of your current package is credited.
Upgrades, credits and refunds
Packages are paid for a fixed period, every 3 months or once a year, and nothing is charged automatically. Here is how the money works when you change something.
- Moving up to a bigger package: the unused value of your current package is applied as service credit against the new package, and the new period starts as soon as the payment is confirmed. Your website is not rebuilt; only the limits grow and you can connect more domains.
- Service credit: it pays for packages, never for domain registrations or renewals, and it keeps its original currency. Any credit on your account is shown on the order before you pay.
- Renewal: it is manual. Eyivo emails you 14, 7 and 1 days before your package ends. If you renew earlier, the new period is added from the current end date, so you lose nothing by renewing early.
- After the end date: there is a grace period of 7 days during which everything keeps working. After it, the free plan limits apply and connected domains stop serving until you renew. Your content and domain settings are kept.
- Refunds: a full refund of the service is available for 14 days from activation. When you upgrade, the original purchase keeps its own refund window.
- Free trial: it is free for its whole length and ends at the time shown, with no grace period. A trial never turns into a paid package by itself.
Invoices and payments are listed under Billing in Eyivo. For a refund request, open a support ticket from the same menu and name the order.
